How's It Built

Talladega Fiberglass uses only quality American made material in our fenders. We start off with a high quality marine grade gel coat. Our resins are a blended vinylester/polyester resin for superior strength and durability. We use top of the line Owens Corning fiberglass, we don't use just chopped glass. We use a second laminate of knitted woven roven material, these are the same materials that you will find in your offshore fishing boat hulls. We also offer an optional 1/2 cored liner, this liner is fiberglassed right into the underneath side of the fenders. This prevents any (star,spiderweb) cracks in your paint. The fiberglass thickness on our fenders is 5/16 of a inch thick, when you include the core laminate it ends up 7/8" thick.
Talladega fiberglass builds the toughest fender in the industry, We offer a two year warranty against any manufacture defect.
